Meadow Park Elementary School, Port Charlotte 5Kw Sanyo Bifacial Project

Port Charlotte, FL - February 10th, 2011 – Meadow Park Elementary has become the newest school to ride the solar wave, by incorporating two Solar Photovoltaic Systems, in the form of Solar canopies, one at the front entrance, the other one, near the basketball courts. These systems will be provided by Harrimans Inc. Solar Energy Solutions, in conjunction with NCN Electric. The systems will feature SANYO Bi-Facial PV panels, this technology offers a higher ratio of power production per square foot, as well as very impressive architectural and visual values. This concept is not exclusive to this project, Harrimans recently completed a larger project with the same characteristics for the Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, the results of this particular project exceeded everyone’s expectation, and therefore, Charlotte County Public Schools has total confidence in this investment, which will also serve as a learning tool for teachers and students.
